British Airways A320-111 G-BUSG was delivered Toulouse – London Heathrow today. The aircraft is in full Landor livery with ‘BRITISH AIRWAYS’ fuselage titles and CY149 configuration.

British Airways BAe ATP G-BTPG Delivered.

BAe ATP G-BTPG was delivered to British Airways today.  It is painted in Landor livery, has ‘BRITISH AIRWAYS’ fuselage titles, is named Strathfillan and is configured 64Y.  It will be operated by British Airways Highlands Division on flights between Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow and the Scottish Highlands and Islands.

British Airways B767-300ER G-BNWA First Flight.

May 23, 1989

British Airways Boeing 767-336ER G-BNWA made its first flight today using Boeing test registration N6009F.  This was the first flight of any Rolls Royce powered Boeing 767.  This aircraft will be retained by Boeing for testing and certification purposes before it is delivered to British Airways.

British Airways BAe ATP G-BTPG First Flight.

BAe ATP G-BTPG, first registered to British Airways as long ago as 2 September 1988, made its first flight at Woodford today.

British Airways BAe ATP G-BTPF Delivered.

May 5, 1989

BAe ATP G-BTPF, first registered to British Airways as long ago as 2 September 1988, was finally delivered to British Airways today.  The aircraft is in Landor livery with “BRITISH AIRWAYS” fuselage titles, is named Strathlarn and is configured 64Y.  It will be operated by British Airways Highlands Division replacing the Hawker Siddeley 748 s that have been used by that division since 1975.

British Airways B737-200 G-IBTW Begins Caledonian Lease.

British Airways Boeing 737-2Q8  G-IBTW was subleased Caledonian Airways today and immediately entered service in full Caledonian Airways livery with ‘CALEDONIAN’ fuselage titles.

British Airways B757-200 G-BPEB Begins Caledonian Lease.

May 5, 1989

Boeing 757-236 G-BPEB was subleased to Caledonian Airways today.  It immediately operated London Gatwick – Malaga.  It had already been repainted in full Caledonian Airways livery with ‘CALEDONIAN’ fuselage titles.

HS748 G-BGMN Returns to Euroair.

May 5, 1989

British Airways Hawker Siddeley 748 2A/347 G-BGMN that was leased by British Airways Highland Division from Euroair Transport on 7 June 1986, was returned to Euroair today.  During this lease it was operated in full Landor livery while named Glen Finnan (left side) / Fionain (right side) and configured for 44 Y Class passengers.  It is being replaced by a newly delivered BAe ATP.

British Airways TriStar G-BBAI Returns to UK Register.

May 5, 1989

British Airways restored the registration of their Lockheed TriStar L-1011-1 G-BBAI today.  It was returned to Caledonian Airways from sub-lease to World Airways Canada as C-FCXJ on 1 May.

HS748 G-BGMO Returns to Euroair Transport.

Hawker Siddeley 748 2A/347 G-BGMO,   that was leased by British Airways Highland Division from Euroair Transport on 22 May 1986, was returned to Euroair today.  During this lease it was operated in full Landor livery while named Gleann Goinn (left side) / Glen Goyne (right side) and configured  44Y.  It is being replaced by a newly delivered BAe ATP.

British Airways TriStar G-BBAI Returns from Canadian Sub Lease.

May 1, 1989

British Airways Lockheed TriStar L-1011-1 G-BBAI, that that has been on sublease to Worldways Airlines Canada from Caledonian Airways since 1 December 1988 when it was reregistered C-FCXJ, was returned to Caledonian Airways at London Gatwick today.  It is still in full Caledonian Airways livery with ‘Worldways Canada’ fuselage titles.
