British Airways Announce Summer 2014 Tel Aviv Changes.

British Airways today announced that the London Heathrow – Tel Aviv route will switch from Terminal 1 to Terminal 5 at London Heathrow from 30th March 2014. From the same date the BA165/BA164 rotation will switch from midhaul A321 to 4 Class Boeing 777-200ER operation. The BA163/BA162 rotation will remain as an A321 service and the BA167/BA166 rotation will be dropped.

British Airways A321 G-MEDN Larnaca Crew Positioning Flight.

British Airways A321 G-MEDN operated BA149 London Heathrow – Beirut today, then instead of overnighting in Beirut positioned to Larnaca where the outbound crew will overnight. The aircraft will then operate back to Beirut as BA148 early tomorrow morning in order to operate BA148 Beirut – London Heathrow as scheduled. This is due to heightened security concerns.

British Airways B747-400 G-BNLJ Returns from Miami.

Following the technical issue it encountered yesterday, British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-BNLJ departed Miami late tonight operating yesterday’s delayed BA208 Miami – London Heathrow as BA9603.

British Airways B787-8 G-ZBJC Delivered.

British Airways Boeing 787-8 G-ZBJC was delivered Paine Field – London Heathrow as BA787 this evening. This brings the B787-8 fleet up to three aircraft.

British Airways B737-400 G-DOCE Returns to Service.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-DOCE, which has been out of service at London Gatwick since positioning from Venice following a technical issue on 27th August, returned to service this evening as BA2718 London Gatwick – Malaga.

British Airways B747-400 G-CIVR Beijing Technical Issue.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVR arrived into Beijing this morning as BA39 from London Heathrow (depart London Heathrow 31st August), however the return BA38 has been delayed indefinitely due to a technical issue with the aircraft.

British Airways A321 G-MEDG BA149 Crew Positioning Flight.

British Airways A321 G-MEDG operated BA149 London Heathrow – Beirut today, then instead of overnighting in Beirut positioned to Larnaca where the outbound crew will overnight. British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-BNLJ operated BA207 London Heathrow – Miami today, however it was unable to operate the return BA206 due to a technical issue. Sister G-BNLM, which arrived into Miami as BA209 from London Heathrow was used to operate the BA206 service, whilst G-BNLM’s scheduled return to London Heathrow as BA208 has been delayed overnight.

British Airways B737-400 G-DOCA Scilly Islands Test Flight.

British Airways Boeing 737-436 G-DOCA, which has been under maintenance at London Gatwick since 15th August, operated a London Gatwick – London Gatwick circuit as BA9274 this evening routing to the Scilly Isles and back.

British Airways A320 G-EUUS Returns from Madrid Maintenance.

British Airways A320 G-EUUS, which has been under maintenance at Madrid since 19th August, positioned Madrid – London Heathrow late this afternoon as BA9279. The aircraft has been repainted into Union Flag with Crest livery.

British Airways A318 G-EUNB Returns from Gatwick Maintenance.

British Airways A318 G-EUNB, which has been under maintenance at London Gatwick since 16th August, positioned London Gatwick – London City this afternoon as BA9273. Double daily service on the London City – New York JFK route resumes tomorrow.
