British Airways Boeing 767-336ER G-BNWA was withdrawn from service at London Heathrow late tonight after arriving as BA349 from Nice. This brings the Boeing 767-300ER fleet down to six aircraft.

British Airways B767-300ER G-BNWA BA263 Heathrow Technical Issue.

British Airways European configuration Boeing 767-336ER G-BNWA was scheduled to substitute for the usual Boeing 747-400 on the BA263/BA262 London Heathrow – Riyadh rotation today, howewer the aircraft returned to the gate at London Heathrow this afternoon due to a technical issue.

British Airways B767-300ER G-BNWA BA463 Alicante Rescue Mission.

Following the earlier cancellation of BA2633 Alicante – London Gatwick, British Airways Boeing 767-336ER G-BNWA operating BA463 Madrid – London Heathrow diverted via Alicante this evening to collect stranded passengers. They were then bussed from London Heathrow – London Gatwick.

British Airways B767-300ER G-BNWA Shannon Rescue Mission.

Following the earlier BA282 A380 diversion to Shannon, British Airways Boeing 767-336ER G-BNWA positioned London Heathrow – Shannon as BA9151 to collect World Traveller Plus and World Traveller passengers and fly them to London Heathrow as BA9217.

British Airways B767-300ER G-BNWA BA1484 Heathrow Technical Return.

British Airways Boeing 767-336ER G-BNWA operating BA1484 London Heathrow – Glasgow had just passed between Derby and Nottingham at 30,000 ft when it turned back to London Heathrow due to a technical issue. The aircraft departed London Heathrow again and operated to Glasgow as BA1484, returning as BA1493.

B767-300ER G-BNWA Returns from Gatwick Refurbishment.

British Airways Boeing 767-336ER G-BNWA, which has been under refurbishment at London Gatwick since October 10th, positioned London Gatwick – London Heathrow this morning as BA9174 and immediately re-entered service operating BA902 London Heathrow – Frankfurt. The aircraft is now in CY259 configuration.

British Airways B767-300ER G-BNWA Delivered.

British Airways Boeing 767-336ER G-BNWA was delivered today. The aircraft is in Landor livery, is named “City of Brussels” and brings the British Airways B767-300ER fleet up to five aircraft.

British Airways B767-300ER G-BNWA Delivered.

British Airways Boeing 767-336ER G-BNWA, which made its first flight on 23 May 1989, was registered to British Airways today and delivered Paine Field – London Heathrow. The aircraft is in Landor livery with ‘BRITISH AIRWAYS’ fuselage titles,  however having been originally painted with the name Severn Bridge it is now named City of Brussels.  Its cabin is configured for CY247 for European routes primarily replacing the L-1011 TriStar. As the first Rolls Royce powered production Boeing 767 it had been retained by the manufacturer for development, testing and certification purposes when it was flown as N6009F.

British Airways B767-300ER G-BNWA First Flight.

British Airways Boeing 767-336ER G-BNWA made its first flight today using Boeing test registration N6009F.  This was the first flight of any Rolls Royce powered Boeing 767.  This aircraft will be retained by Boeing for testing and certification purposes before it is delivered to British Airways.

Gatwick Boeing B767-300ER Reconfiguration Swap.

British Airways Boeing 767-336ER G-BNWA positioned London Heathrow – London Gatwick this evening as BA9174 where it will undergo refurbishment and reconfiguration to CY259.

Sister G-BZHB, which has been under maintenance at London Gatwick since 11th September, then positioned London Gatwick – London Heathrow as BA9175. This aircraft is now refurbished to CY259 configuration with Boeing 777 style overhead bins.

Larnaca Goes A330-200 for Two Weeks.

bmi A330-200 G-WWBM operated the BA662/BA663 London Heathrow – Larnaca rotation today and is scheduled to operate the route daily until 22nd October. This will ease pressure on the Boeing 767-300ER fleet which has five aircraft out of service; G-BNWA under maintenance at London Heathrow, G-BNWD which remains at Calgary following a technical issue on September 25th, G-BNWR under maintenance at London Heathrow, G-BNWV undergoing refurbishment at Cardiff-Wales and G-BZHB undergoing refurbishment at London Gatwick.

Euro 767 G-BWNA Operates Tel Aviv Rotation.

European configuration Boeing 767-336ER G-BNWA operated tonight’s BA163/BA162 London Heathrow – Tel Aviv rotation in place of the usual longhaul configuration aircraft.
