British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVL operating BA295 London Heathrow – Chicago was close to Waterford this afternoon when it turned back to London Heathrow, circled over West Wales to burn fuel then continued to London Heathrow for a safe landing. The flight, and the return BA294, were subsequently cancelled.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVL arrived into Delhi in the early hours of this morning as BA143 from London Heathrow (depart London Heathrow 7th January), however the aircraft was unable to depart due to heavy fog. Once this had cleared crew did not have sufficient hours to reach London Heathrow and so the flight has been delayed overnight.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVL arrived into Cape Town this morning as BA43 from London Heathrow (depart London Heathrow 23rd December), however the aircraft then encountered a technical issue causing the cancellation of BA58 Cape Town – London Heathrow.

The flight has been delayed overnight.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVL, which has been under repair at the Delta facility at Atlanta since 29th June, after being struck by ground equipment at Boston on 25th June, positioned Atlanta – London Heathrow today as BA9170.

Following the technical issue it encountered on 24th May, British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVL departed Accra this morning operating the delayed BA78 Accra – London Heathrow as BA78X and went straight into the Heathrow maintenance facility.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVL arrived into Johannesburg this morning as BA57 from London Heathrow (depart London 23rd February), however the return BA54 has been delayed overnight due to a pitot tube problem which could not be rectified within crew duty hours.
