The aircraft has been reconfigured from 14F/70J/30W/185Y to 14F/86J/30W/145Y with Panasonic IFE. It is the thirteenth of eighteen aircraft to be reconfigured.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVY operated BA295 London Heathrow – Chicago this morning, then following the Boeing 747-400 technical diversion yesterday the aircraft positioned Chicago – Minneapolis-St Paul as BA9173 in order to continue yesterday’s diverted BA243 London Heathrow – Mexico City, routing Minneapolis-St Paul – Mexico City using callsign BA9608. As a result BA294 Chicago – London Heathrow was cancelled.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVY operated today’s scheduled BA75 London Heathrow – Lagos, however due to yesterday’s BA75 being delayed until this morning there is no rested crew available at Lagos and therefore the return BA74 has been delayed overnight.

Following an A380 maintenance delay at London Heathrow, British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVY operated the BA269/BA268 London Heathrow – Los Angeles rotation today. Outbound crew was sourced from the scheduled BA197 London Heathrow – Houston meaning this service was cancelled. The return BA268 will be delayed overnight while the crew has minimum rest and will operate tomorrow as BA9607.

Following the earlier technical return of sister G-CIVR to Riyadh, British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVY positioned London Heathrow – Riyadh this afternoon as BA9150 and will operate delayed BA262 Riyadh – London Heathrow in the early hours of tomorrow morning as BA262X.

Following yesterday’s delay Boeing 747-436 G-CIVY departed Sao Paulo this morning operating yesterday’s BA246 Sao Paulo – London Heathrow as BA9609.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVY arrived into Sao Paulo today as BA247 from London Heathrow (depart London 15th December) however the return BA246 has been delayed overnight due to a technical issue with a cargo hold door.
