British Airways A320 G-GATL operated a London Gatwick – Grenoble charter rotation early this morning as BA8614/BA8615 and a second London Gatwick – Grenoble charter rotation early this afternoon as BA8616/BA8617.
British Airways A320 G-GATL positioned London Gatwick – Funchal as BA9251 this afternoon in order to operate an additional Funchal – London Gatwick sector as BA2785. This was to collect passengers from BA2781 of 2nd October, which did not operate when the outbound BA2780 had to divert due to weather.
Following the A320 technical return to Arrecife yesterday, British Airways A320 G-GATL positioned London Gatwick – Arrecife this morning as BA9250 in order to operate yesterday’s delayed BA2733 Arrecife – London Gatwick.

British Airways A320 G-GATL operating BA2667 Marrakesh – London Gatwick was climbing out of Marrakesh when crew needed to shut down the #2 engine after it emitted a loud bang. The aircraft returned to Marrakesh for a safe landing.
British Airways A320 G-GATL operating BA2780 London Gatwick – Funchal diverted to Lisbon this afternoon having failed to get into Funchal due to high winds. The aircraft later positioned Lisbon – London Gatwick as BA9254. The remainder of the flight, and the return BA2781 will operate tomorrow.
British Airways A320 G-GATL was delivered Woensdrecht – London Gatwick this afternoon as BA9270 routing to the north of Norfolk for various air tests en route. The 2002 vintage machine was new to ACES Aerolineas Centrales de Colombia and has also operated for Wizzair. The aircraft is in CY171 configuration and White Union Flag with Crest livery and is the third of ten used A320s to be delivered to London Gatwick.
