Following the technical issue it encountered on 23rd June, British Airways A321 G-MEDF departed Baku in the early hours of this morning operating the delayed BA144 Baku – London Heathrow of 23rd June as BA144X.

British Airways A321 G-MEDF Returns from Gatwick Maintenance.

British Airways A321 G-MEDF, which has been under maintenance at London Gatwick since February 8th, positioned London Gatwick – London Heathrow this afternoon as BA9174. The aircraft has been fitted with a containerised baggage handling system and is therefore now compatible with T5 operations.

British Airways A321 G-MEDF operated BA149 London Heathrow – Beirut today, then instead of overnighting in Beirut positioned to Larnaca as BA149 where the outbound crew will overnight. The aircraft will then operate back to Beirut as BA148 early tomorrow morning in order to operate BA148 Beirut – London Heathrow as scheduled. This is due to heightened security concerns.

British Airways A321 G-MEDF, which has been out of service at London Heathrow since 10th December, returned to service today as BA167 London Heathrow – Tel Aviv newly repainted into Union Flag with Crest livery.

A321 G-MEDF Operates Final bmi Heathrow Arrival.

Airbus A321 G-MEDF was met with a water cannon salute on arrival at London Heathrow today as BD928 from Tblisi and Baku. This was the last commercial mainline bmi flight to operate.

A321 G-MEDF Returns from Tehran.

Following the technical issue it encountered late on 12th October A321 G-MEDF returned from Tehran today routing Tehran – Tblisi – London Heathrow as BD932.

bmi A321 G-MEDF Returns from East Midlands Reconfiguration.

bmi Airbus A321 G-MEDF, which has been under maintenance at East Midlands since 7th August, positioned East Midlands – London Heathrow this morning as BD9563 newly reconfigured into 23J/131Y configuration. The aircraft then re-entered service as BD927 London Heathrow – Baku – Bishkek.

British Airways A321 G-MEDU returned to service this morning operating BA147 London Heathrow – Ammam. The IFE system has been repaired using parts from sister G-MEDF which has departed for maintenance at Madrid.

British Airways Tel Aviv A321 Swap.

British Airways A321 G-MEDF operated BA167 London Heathrow – Tel Aviv this afternoon however the return BA166 was operated by sister G-MEDL, which suffered a cracked windscreen prior to being scheduled to operate yesterday’s BA166. G-MEDF will overnight at Tel Aviv.
