British Airways B777-300ER G-STBF Takes Over BA117.

Following the two earlier Boeing 747-400 issues, BA117 London Heathrow – New York JFK was operated this evening by Boeing 777-336ER G-STBF. As a result the return BA172 has been delayed overnight as there is no Boeing 777 crew available at JFK.

British Airways B777-300ER G-STBF Operates Jeddah Rotation.

Following the technical return of yesterday’s BA133 London Heathrow – Jeddah to London Heathrow and the subsequent cancellation of the flight, tonight’s BA133/BA132 London Heathrow – Jeddah rotation was operated by Boeing 777-336ER G-STBF instead of the usual Boeing 777-200ER in order to provide extra capacity.

British Airways B777-300ER G-STBF Continues from Ahmedabad.

Following its weather diversion yesterday, British Airways Boeing 777-336ER G-STBF continued the diverted BA199 London Heathrow – Mumbai of 1st July this morning, routing Ahmedabad – Mumbai as BA199D. The aircraft then operated today’s scheduled BA198 Mumbai – London Heathrow.

British Airways B777-300ER G-STBF BA199 Ahmedabad Diversion.

British Airways Boeing 777-336ER G-STBF operating BA199 London Heathrow – Mumbai (depart London 1st July) diverted to Ahmedabad early this morning due to weather at Mumbai. Passengers have been accommodated overnight. BA198 Mumbai – London Heathrow was cancelled.

British Airways B777-300ER G-STBF Operates BA27/BA28 Rotation.

British Airways Boeing 777-336ER G-STBF operated the BA27/BA28 London Heathrow – Hong Kong rotation tonight in place of the scheduled Boeing 777-200ER. This was to offer additional capacity after the earlier BA25/BA26 rotation was switched from A380 to Boeing 777-300ER operation.

British Airways B777-300ER G-STBF Returns from Singapore.

Following the technical issue it encountered yesterday, British Airways Boeing 777-336ER G-STBF departed Singapore this afternoon operating to London Heathrow as BA16X. British Airways still show yesterday’s BA16 Singapore – London Heathrow sector as cancelled rather then delayed although the flight number indicates that this was a passenger service. The aircraft went straight into maintenance on arrival.

British Airways B777-300ER G-STBF Singapore Technical Issue.

British Airways Boeing 777-336ER G-STBF operated BA16 Sydney – Singapore this afternoon, however on approach to Singapore the aircraft declared PAN due to a burning smell eminating from the First Class IFE unites. The onward sector to London Heathrow was subsequently cancelled.

British Airways B777-300ER G-STBF Heathrow Technical Issue.

British Airways Boeing 777-336ER G-STBF was unable to operate BA179 London Heathrow – New York JFK due to a hydraulic leak. Boeing 777-236ER G-VIIA operated the flight instead with the smaller capacity leading to some passengers being offloaded. As a result G-VIIA was not available to operate BA199 London Heathrow – Mumbai which was cancelled.

British Airways B777-300ER G-STBF BA15 Melbourne Diversion.

British Airways Boeing 777-336ER G-STBF operating the Singapore – Sydney sector of BA15 London Heathrow – Singapore – Sydney (depart London 27th May) diverted via Melbourne this morning due to fog at Sydney. This was the first visit of a British Airways B777-300ER to Melbourne.

British Airways B777-300ER G-STBF Delivered.

British Aoirways Boeing 777-336ER G-STBF was delivered Paine Field – Cardiff-Wales as BA9176 this evening. The aircraft is in Union Flag livery and 14F/56J/44W/183Y configuration and brings the British Airways B777-300ER fleet up to six aircraft.
