The aircraft flew with gear down throughout. After passengers disembarked the aircraft was moved to the Heathrow maintenance facility.

Following its double diversions on 26th December, British Airways Boeing 777-236ER G-VIIH departed Kuwait this morning continuing the diverted BA125 London Heathrow – Bahrain of 26th December routing Kuwait – Bahrain as BA125D. The aircraft then operated yesterday’s delayed BA124 Bahrain – London Heathrow but diverted via Paris CDG for a cabin crew change due to crew not having sufficient hours to reach London Heathrow. Bahrain – Paris CDG operated using callsign BA124D and Paris CDG – London Heathrow operated using callsign BA124Y.

Following the technical issue it encountered yesterday, British Airways Boeing 777-236ER G-VIIH departed Mumbai this afternoon operating yesterday’s BA198 Mumbai – London Heathrow as BA198D. However it is not clear whether this flight was carrying passengers as all sources show it as having been cancelled.

Following its diversion yesterday, British Airways Boeing 777-236ER G-VIIH departed Lagos this morning continuing the diverted BA83 London Heathrow – Abuja of 5th January, routing Lagos – Abuja as BA83. The aircraft then operated yesterday’s delayed BA82 Abuja – London Heathrow.

British Airways Boeing 777-236ER G-VIIH operating BA83 London Heathrow – Abuja (depart London 5th January) diverted to Accra this morning due to dust storms at Abuja. The aircraft departed Accra but was forced to divert again, this time to Lagos where crew timed out and the aircraft will overnight.
