British Airways Boeing 777-236ER G-YMMB operating BA245 London Heathrow – Buenos Aires (depart London 14th November) diverted to Rio De Janeiro this morning due to Buenos Aires being closed following a runway excursion by Austral Lineas Aeries E190 LV-CKZ. The aircraft continued Rio De Janeiro – Buenos Aires late in the evening as BA245X.

British Airways Boeing 777-236ER G-YMMB, which has been operating from London Gatwick since 22nd July, positioned London Gatwick – London Heathrow as BA9151 this morning and immediately entered service as BA119 London Heathrow – Bangalore.

British Airways Boeing 777-236ER G-YMMB operating BA2276 Las Vegas – London Gatwick (depart Las Vegas 16th January) was heading towards London Gatwick close to Yeovil this morning when it turned and diverted to Cardiff-Wales. The aircraft later continued Cardiff-Wales – London Gatwick.

Following the technical issue it encountered on February 2nd, British Airways Boeing 777-236ER G-YMMB departed Las Vegas in the early hours of this morning operating the delayed BA2276 Las Vegas – London Gatwick of 2nd February using callsign EZY9608.

Following the technical issue it encountered on 4th October, British Airways Boeing 777-236ER G-YMMB departed Male today operating the delayed BA2042 Male – London Gatwick of 4th October using callsign BA204D.

B777-200ER G-YMMB Remains in Male.

Following it’s technical issue yesterday British Airways Boeing 777-236ER G-YMMB remains at Male with its scheduled flight to London Gatwick as BA2042 now cancelled. This has not affected schedules out of London Gatwick today as there is spare capacity in the Gatwick based 777 fleet on Fridays, however it will mean the BA2037/BA2036 London Gatwick – Orlando rotation is cancelled tomorrow.

B777-200ER G-YMMB Male Technical Issue.

British Airways Boeing 777-236ER G-YMMB arrived into Male today as BA2043 from London Gatwick however the return has been delayed until tomorrow due to a technical issue with the aircraft. As a result tonight’s scheduled BA2063 London Gatwick – Mauritius has also been delayed overnight.

British Airways Boeing 777-236ER G-YMMB was delivered today. The aircraft is in Union Flag livery and brings the British Airways Boeing 777-200ER fleet up to twenty six aircraft.
