Following its overnight delay at Port of Spain waiting for St Lucia airport to re-open following the flooding there, British Airways Boeing 777-236ER G-YMMR operated Port of Spain – St Lucia this evening as BA2158. The aircraft then operated St Lucia – Bridgetown – London Gatwick using callsign BA9606. The Bridgetown stop was required as there is still fuel upload problems at St Lucia.

Following severe flooding which closed St Lucia airport late on 24th December, British Airways Boeing 777-236ER G-YMMR operated today’s scheduled BA2159 London Gatwick – St Lucia – Port of Spain directly London Gatwick – Port of Spain. The aircraft will overnight at Port of Spain in the expectation that St Lucia airport may re-open tomorrow.
