British Airways A320 G-MIDT Returns to Service.

British Airways A320 G-MIDT, which was in storage at London Gatwick from 6th May – 14th July, returned to service this morning operating BA2554 London Heathrow – Heraklion. This was the aircraft’s first passenger service since 16th March.

British Airways A320 G-MIDT Verona Strike Cancellation.

British Airways A320 G-MIDT operated BA2596 London Gatwick – Verona this afternoon, however the return BA2597 was cancelled due to strike action at Verona preventing outgoing passengers. The aircraft instead positioned Verona – London Gatwick as BA9252.

British Airways A320 G-MIDT Rovaniemi Rescue Mission.

Following the earlier A320 technical issue at Rovaniemi, British Airways A320 G-MIDT positioned London Gatwick – Rovaniemi early this evening as BA9251 in order to operate the delayed XMS6RD Roveniemi – London Gatwick charter after midnight.

British Airways A320 G-MIDT Returns from Shannon Maintenance.

British Airways A320 G-MIDT, which has been under maintenance at Shannon since 26th February, positioned Shannon – London Heathrow this morning as BA9271 then returned to service operating BA406 London Heathrow – Brussels. The aircraft has been repainted from Union Flag into White Union Flag with Crest livery.

British Airways A320 G-MIDT BA2689 Bournemouth Diversion.

British Airways A320 G-MIDT operating BA2689 Genoa – London Gatwick diverted to Bournemouth this afternoon following a runway closure at London Gatwick after an incident involving an Air Canada Rouge Boeing 767-300ER. The aircraft will overnight at Bournemouth.

British Airways A320 G-MIDT Returns from Gatwick Base.

British Airways A320 G-MIDT, which has been operating from London Gatwick since 31st March, positioned London Gatwick – London Heathrow early this evening as BA9259 after arriving as BA2715 from Malaga. The aircraft then operated BA1498 London Heathrow – Glasgow.

British Airways A320 G-MIDT, which operated from London Heathrow yesterday, positioned London Heathrow – London Gatwick this morning as BA9271 and returned to service from London Gatwick operating BA2692 London Gatwick – Faro.

British Airways A320 G-MIDT positioned London Heathrow – London Gatwick this afternoon as BA9259 in order to operate the BA2688/BA2689 London Gatwick – Genoa rotation. The aircraft then positioned London Gatwick – London Heathrow as BA9250.

Following the technical issue it encountered yesterday, British Airways A320 G-MIDT departed Dublin this afternoon operating yesterday’s delayed BA839 Dublin – London Heathrow as BA839X.

British Airways A320 G-MIDT operating BA1418 London Heathrow – Belfast City diverted to Belfast International this afternoon. The aircraft later positioned Belfast International – London Heathrow as BA9252.  BA1419 Belfast City – London Heathrow was cancelled.

A320 G-MIDT Returns from Lyon.

Following its diversion to Lyon due to a cracked windscreen panel whilst operating BA355 Nice – London Heathrow on 14th October Airbus A320 G-MIDT positioned Lyon – London Heathrow this afternoon as BA9278.

A320 G-MIDT operating BA355 Nice – London Heathrow diverted to Lyon shortly after take off with the remainder of the flight being cancelled.

A320 G-MIDT Returns to Service.
