British Airways A321 G-MEDM operated BA1386 London Heathrow – Manchester this morning, however the return BA1389 went back to the gate at Manchester and was subsequently cancelled. The aircraft was able to position Manchester – London Heathrow during the afternoon as BA9270 then returned to service operating BA1492 London Heathrow – Glasgow.

British Airways A321 G-MEDL Overnight Dusseldorf Delay.

British Airways A321 G-MEDL operated BA944 London Heathrow – Dusseldorf with a two and three quarter hour delay this evening, however the return BA945 has been delayed overnight. It is not clear whether this is due to a technical issue or crew timing out.

British Airways A321 G-EUXM Positions to Prestwick Maintenance.

British Airways A321 G-EUXM positioned London Heathrow – Prestwick for maintenance this morning as BA9273. The aircraft arrived into London Heathrow yesterday evening as BA569 from Milan Linate and this was the last flight to be operated by an A321 in CY205 configuration.

British Airways A321 G-EUXM Copenhagen Technical Issue.

British Airways A321 G-EUXM overnighted at Copenhagen after arriving as BA808 from London Heathrow yesterday, however this morning’s return BA825 was cancelled due to a technical issue. The aircraft operated Copenhagen – London Heathrow during the evening as BA825 indicating that cargo was being carried.

British Airways A321 G-EUXF Overnight Madrid Delay.

British Airways A321 G-EUXF operated BA462 London Heathrow – Madrid late this afternoon with almost a two hour delay. The return BA463 was then delayed overnight. It is not clear whether this is due to crew hours or a technical issue.

British Airways A321 G-EUXC Newcastle Technical Issue.

British Airways A321 G-EUXC operated BA1326 London Heathrow – Newcastle this morning, however the return BA1327 was cancelled due to a technical issue. The aircraft was able to position Newcastle – London Heathrow in the evening as BA9271.

British Airways A321 G-EUXD Returns from Toulouse.

Following the technical issue it encountered yesterday, British Airways A321 G-EUXD positioned Toulouse – London Heathrow this afternoon as BA9270 then returned to service operating BA1488 London Heathrow – Glasgow.

British Airways A321 G-EUXC Returns from Prestwick Maintenance.

British Airways A321 G-EUXC, which has been under maintenance at Prestwick since 23rd March, positioned Prestwick – London Heathrow this evening as BA9273. The aircraft has been reconfigured from CY205 to CY218 with the spaceflex rear galley and toilets and is the second A321 in this configuration.

British Airways A321 G-MEDN Returns from Prestwick Maintenance.

British Airways A321 G-MEDN, which has been under maintenance at Prestwick since 2nd January, positioned Prestwick – London Heathrow early this afternoon as BA9272. The aircraft has been reconfigured from 23J/131Y into the new “densified”  CY218 configuration.

British Airways A321 G-EUXI BA1308 Liverpool Diversion.

British Airways A321 G-EUXI operating BA1308 London Heathrow – Aberdeen diverted to Liverpool this afternoon having failed to get into Aberdeen. After around four and a half hours on the ground at Liverpool the aircraft operated Liverpool – London Heathrow.

British Airways A321 G-EUXK Returns from Glasgow.

Following the technical issue it encountered yesterday, British Airways A321 G-EUXK positioned Glasgow – London Heathrow as BA9259 early this afternoon then returned to service operating BA782 London Heathrow – Stockholm Arlanda.

British Airways A321 G-MEDN Positions to Prestwick Maintenance.

British Airways A321 G-MEDN positioned London Heathrow – Prestwick for maintenance early this afternoon after arriving as BA148 from Beirut. The aircraft will be converted from 23J/131Y configuration to become the first “densified” European A321 in CY218 configuration.

British Airways A321 G-MEDU Baku Rescue Mission.

British Airways A321 G-MEDU arrived into Beirut last night as BA149 from London Heathrow, however this morning’s return BA148 was cancelled and the aircraft instead positioned Beirut – Baku as BA9153 following the Boeing 777-300ER diversion to Baku yesterday. The aircraft then continued yesterday’s diverted BA198 Mumbai – London Heathrow, routing Baku – London Heathrow as BA198.

British Airways A321 G-MEDL Aberdeen Damage Cancellation.

British Airways A321 G-MEDL operated BA1312 London Heathrow – Aberdeen this afternoon, however the return BA1313 returned to the stand at Aberdeen due to aircraft damage and was subsequently cancelled. The aircraft positioned Aberdeen – London Heathrow late at night as BA9257.

British Airways A321 G-MEDN Newcastle Damage Cancellation.

British Airways A321 G-MEDN operated BA1324 London Heathrow – Newcastle this morning, however the return BA1325 was cancelled due to damage to the aircraft as reported via BA systems. We have also received reports that there was an odour event on the northbound service.  The aircraft was able to position Newcastle – London Heathrow during the afternoon as BA9254.

British Airways A321 G-EUXK Continues from Budapest.

Following its diversion yesterday, British Airways A321 G-EUXK departed Budapest late this morning continuing yesterday’s diverted BA872 London Heathrow – Krakow, routing Budapest – Krakow as BA872D. The aircraft then operated yesterday’s delayed BA873 Krakow – London Heathrow as BA873D.

Following its diversion yesterday, British Airways A321 G-EUXC departed Athens this afternoon continuing yesterday’s diverted BA9228 London Heathrow – Lemnos charter, routing Athens – Lemnos and using BA9228 as its callsign. The aircraft then operated yesterday’s delayed BA9229 Lemnos – London Heathrow.

British Airways A321 G-EUXD overnighted at Athens after arriving as BA634 from London Heathrow in the early hours of this morning. The aircraft then took over yesterday’s diverted BA9232 London Heathrow – Rhodes charter, routing Athens – Rhodes this afternoon as BA9232. The aircraft then operated yesterday’s delayed BA9233 Rhodes – London Heathrow charter.

Following its diversion yesterday, British Airways A321 G-EUXM departed Athens this afternoon continuing yesterday’s diverted BA9228 London Heathrow – Lemnos charter, routing Athens – Lemnos using BA9228 as its callsign. The aircraft then operated yesterday’s delayed BA9229 Lemnos – London Heathrow charter.

British Airways A321 G-MEDM BA1402 Liverpool Diversion.

British Airways A321 G-MEDM operating BA1402 London Heathrow – Manchester diverted to Liverpool this evening due to a runway closure at Manchester. Late at night the aircraft positioned Liverpool – London Heathrow as BA9258. As a result BA1407 Manchester – London Heathrow was cancelled.

British Airways A321 G-EUXM BA433 Amsterdam Technical Return.

British Airways A321 G-EUXM operating BA433 Amsterdam – London Heathrow stopped the climb at 7,000 ft this evening following an issue with the #2 engine caused by a possible bird strike. The aircraft returned immediately to Amsterdam for a safe landing. The flight was subsequently cancelled.

British Airways A321 G-EUXK Athens Rescue Mission.

Following the earlier technical return of yesterday’s delayed BA632 London Heathrow – Athens to London Heathrow, British Airways A321 G-EUXK positioned London Heathrow – Athens as BA9256 early this evening in order to operate yesterday’s delayed BA633 Athens – London Heathrow, arriving into London Heathrow after midnight.

British Airways A321 G-EUXH BA887 Bucharest Technical Return.

British Airways A321 G-EUXH operating BA887 Bucharest – London Heathrow stopped the climb at 11,000 ft this afternoon due to a technical issue, entered a hold while a runway inspection was performed and then returned to Bucharest for a safe landing.
