British Airways A321 G-MEDJ Returns from Gatwick Maintenance.

British Airways A321 G-MEDJ, which has been under maintenance at London Gatwick since March 31st, positioned London Gatwick – London Heathrow this evening as BA9174. The aircraft has been fitted with a containerised baggage handling system and is therefore now compatible with T5 operations.

British Airways A321 G-MEDJ BA163 Heathrow Technical Return.

British Airways A321 G-MEDJ operating last night’s delayed BA163 London Heathrow – Tel Aviv reached Dunkirk in the early hours of this morning whilst still at 12,000 ft, circled to troubleshoot a technical issue and then returned to London Heathrow. The flight and the return BA162 were subsequently cancelled.

British Airways A321 G-MEDJ BA153 Heathrow Technical Return.

British Airways A321 G-MEDJ, which had been under maintenance at London Heathrow undergoing an engine swap since 4th December, returned to service this evening operating BA153 London Heathrow – Beirut. However crew stopped the climb at 12,000 ft when the replacement engine surged and returned to London Heathrow for a safe landing. The flight was subsequently operated by European configuration A320 G-EUUL.

British Airways A321 G-MEDJ operated BA149 London Heathrow – Beirut today, then instead of overnighting in Beirut positioned to Larnaca as BA149 where the outbound crew will overnight. The aircraft will then operate back to Beirut as BA148 early tomorrow morning in order to operate BA148 Beirut – London Heathrow as scheduled. This is due to heightened security concerns.

British Airways A321 G-MEDJ operated BA147 London Heathrow – Amman this morning, however the return BA146 was cancelled due to a technical issue with the aircraft. The issue was related to the First Officer’s windscreen.

British Airways A321 G-MEDJ BA165 Paphos Diversion.

British Airways A321 G-MEDJ operating BA165 London Heathrow – Tel Aviv diverted via Paphos this afternoon. The aircraft was on the ground for around 30 minutes before continuing. The diversion was caused by airspace restrictions at Tel Aviv due to President Barrack Obama’s State Visit.

British Airways A321 G-MEDJ, which has been out of service at London Heathrow since 17th December, returned to service today in Union Flag with Crest livery operating the BA145/BA144 London Heathrow – Baku rotation.
