British Airways A321 G-MEDN Returns from Prestwick Maintenance.

British Airways A321 G-MEDN, which has been under maintenance at Prestwick since 2nd January, positioned Prestwick – London Heathrow early this afternoon as BA9272. The aircraft has been reconfigured from 23J/131Y into the new “densified”  CY218 configuration.

British Airways A321 G-MEDN Positions to Prestwick Maintenance.

British Airways A321 G-MEDN positioned London Heathrow – Prestwick for maintenance early this afternoon after arriving as BA148 from Beirut. The aircraft will be converted from 23J/131Y configuration to become the first “densified” European A321 in CY218 configuration.

British Airways A321 G-MEDN Newcastle Damage Cancellation.

British Airways A321 G-MEDN operated BA1324 London Heathrow – Newcastle this morning, however the return BA1325 was cancelled due to damage to the aircraft as reported via BA systems. We have also received reports that there was an odour event on the northbound service.  The aircraft was able to position Newcastle – London Heathrow during the afternoon as BA9254.

British Airways A321 G-MEDN Moscow Domodedovo Damage Cancellation.

British Airways A321 G-MEDN arrived into Moscow Domodedovo early this morning as BA237 from London Heathrow (depart London Heathrow 2nd May), however the return BA236 was cancelled due to aircraft damage. It appears that this did not become apparent until the aircraft had left the gate.

British Airways A321 G-MEDN Baku Rescue Mission.

Following the A321 technical issue at Baku yesterday, British Airways A321 G-MEDN positioned London Heathrow – Baku this morning as BA9155 in order to operate yesterday’s delayed BA144 Baku – London Heathrow.

British Airways A321 G-MEDN Returns from Gatwick Maintenance.

British Airways A321 G-MEDN, which has been under maintenance at London Gatwick since 30th April, positioned London Gatwick – London Heathrow as BA9172 this evening then returned to service as BA151 London Heathrow – Amman. The aircraft has been fitted with a containerised baggage system and is now compatible with T5 operations at London Heathrow.

British Airways A321 G-MEDN Tel Aviv Lightning Strikes.

British Airways A321 G-MEDN operating BA163 London Heathrow – Tel Aviv (depart London 11th December) suffered multiple lightning strikes on approach to Tel Aviv this morning. The return BA162 is therefore cancelled. Following yesterday’s Tel Aviv technical issue a maintenance crew is already on hand.

British Airways A321 G-MEDN operated BA149 London Heathrow – Beirut today, then instead of overnighting in Beirut positioned to Larnaca as BA149 where the outbound crew will overnight. The aircraft will then operate back to Beirut as BA148 early tomorrow morning in order to operate BA148 Beirut – London Heathrow as scheduled. This is due to heightened security concerns.

British Airways A321 G-MEDN operating BA144 Baku – London Heathrow (depart Baku 23rd April) diverted to London Gatwick in the early hours of this morning. The aircraft then positioned London Gatwick – London Heathrow as BA9256.

31J/118Y configuration A321 G-MEDN operated the BA237/BA236 London Heathrow – Moscow Domodedovo rotation today. This flight is usually a operated by a Three Class British Airways Boeing 767-300ER.

Airbus A321 G-MEDN, which has been at Madrid since 3oth August, positioning Madrid – London Heathrow this evening as BD9551 having been repainted into British Airways livery. This is the first bmi A321 to be painted into BA Colours.
