Dubai services are reduced from 3 x daily to 2 x daily until the end of May due to reduced movement capacity at Dubai owing to runway works.

British Airways today announced that it will switch operation the BA107/BA106 London Heathrow – Dubai rotation to A380 equipment from 16th April – 4th May 2019. During the same period the BA109/BA108 rotation will not operate. This is due to scheduled runway works at Dubai reducing movement capacity.

British Airways A380 G-XLEI operating BA287 London Heathrow – San Francisco operated via Vancouver this afternoon due to aircraft defects. The aircraft initially climbed to 38,000 ft but a technical issue required it to descent to 30,000 ft two hours into the flight and the increased fuel burn required the diversion. However due to the issue the flight was terminated at Vancouver and BA286 San Francisco – London Heathrow was cancelled.

Following the fuel leak it encountered at London Heathrow yesterday evening, British Airways A380 G-XLEG operated yesterday’s delayed BA11 London Heathrow – Singapore this afternoon as BA11D. The aircraft will then operate today’s delayed BA12 Singapore – London Heathrow as a day flight BA12D tomorrow.

British Airways A380 G-XLEA operated tonight’s BA32 Hong Kong – London Heathrow with a short delay due to problems with the water system. No running water was available and the aircraft was stocked with bottled water and hand sanitising wipes.
