British Airways Confirm Retro Paint Scheme.

British Airways today confirmed that they will paint an unspecified number of aircraft in former liveries, the first of which will be Boeing 747-400 G-BYGC which will wear BOAC livery with small British Airways 100 logos at the rear.

British Airways B747-400 G-BYGC Returns from Cardiff Maintenance.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-BYGC, which has been under maintenance at Cardiff-Wales since 24th May, positioned Cardiff-Wales – London Heathrow late this afternoon as BA9172. The aircraft has been reconfigured from 14F/70J/30W/185Y to 14F/86J/30W/145Y with Panasonic IFE. It is the sixteenth of eighteen aircraft to be reconfigured.

British Airways B747-400 G-BYGC Cape Town Delay.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-BYGC was scheduled to operate BA58 Cape Town – London Heathrow this evening, however the flight has been delayed overnight due to a dented fanblade.

British Airways B747-400 G-BYGC BA49 Heathrow Technical Return.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-BYGC operating BA49 London Heathrow – Seattle was close to Northampton when it stopped the climb at approximately 10,000 ft due to pressurisation issues. The aircraft circled close to Northampton to troubleshoot then headed to the Essex Coast off Clacton to dump fuel before returning to London Heathrow. The flight was operated later by sister G-BYGG. G-BYGC re-entered service later in the evening operating BA247 London Heathrow – Sao Paulo.
