British Airways B747-400 G-CIVA Returns from Cardiff Maintenance.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVA which has been under maintenance at Cardiff-Wales since 12th December, positioned Cardiff-Wales – London Heathrow this evening as BA9171. The aircraft has been internally refurbished with new seat covers in Economy and Premium Economy, new carpets, mood lighting and Panasonic IFE.

British Airways B747-400 G-CIVA BA243 Heathrow Technical Return.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVA operating BA243 London Heathrow – Mexico City had started its Atlantic crossing to the west of Ireland when it turned back to London Heathrow for a safe landing following a technical issue. The flight has been rescheduled for this evening.

British Airways B747-400 G-CIVA Returns to Service.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVA, which has been under further maintenance at London Heathrow since returning from Cardiff-Wales on 11th July, returned to service this afternoon operating BA219 London Heathrow – Denver.

British Airways B747-400 G-CIVA Cape Town Rescue Mission.

Following the Boeing 747-400 technical issue at Cape Town yesterday, British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVA, which arrived into Johannesburg as BA57 from London Heathrow (depart London Heathrow 12th February) this morning, positioned Johannesburg – Cape Town as BA9253 this evening in order to operate yesterday’s delayed BA42 Cape Town – London Heathrow as BA42X. As a result BA54 Johannesburg – London Heathrow was cancelled.

British Airways B747-400 G-CIVA Returns from Heathrow Maintenance.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVA, which has been under maintenance at London Heathrow since 30th August, returned to service this morning operating BA207 London Heathrow – Miami. We have not yet received any sighting reports of the aircraft to confirm whether it has been repainted.

British Airways B747-400 G-CIVA BA268 London Stansted Diversion.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVA operating BA268 Los Angeles – London Heathrow (depart Los Angeles 11th July) diverted via London Stansted this afternoon due to the closure of Heathrow owing to a  fire involving Ethiopian Airlines B787-8 ET-AOP.

British Airways B747-400 G-CIVA BA286 Inspection Delay.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVA was delayed for inspection at San Francisco this evening after its wingtip came into contact with a Delta aircraft on pushback. The aircraft was able to operate the flight with a delay of around two hours.
