British Airways B747-400 G-CIVH Makes Final Flight.

Withdrawn British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVH positioned London Heathrow – Castellon for part out and scrap this morning as BA9170. The aircraft had been in storage at London Heathrow since 18th March. The aircraft ended its career in 14F/86J/30W/145Y configuration and Union Flag livery.

British Airways B747-400 G-CIVH Continues from Istanbul.

Following its diversion yesterday, British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVH departed Istanbul in the early hours of this morning continuing the diverted BA109 London Heathrow – Dubai of 7th January, routing Istanbul – Dubai as BA109D routing across Egyptian and Saudi Arabian airspace rather than flying across Iran. The aircraft then operated yesterday’s delayed BA108 Dubai – London Heathrow.

British Airways B747-400 G-CIVH New York JFK Crew Cancellation.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVH operated BA175 London Heathrow – New York JFK this morning, however its return to London Heathrow as BA116 was cancelled due to crew issues. The aircraft operated New York JFK – London Heathrow as cargo flight BA9603 after midnight.

British Airways B747-400 G-BYGD Takes Over BA273, Overnights at San Diego.

Following the earlier Boeing 747-400 technical issue at London Heathrow, British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVH operated the delayed BA273 London Heathrow – San Diego this evening after arriving as BA272 from San Diego. However the aircraft arrived too late into San Diego for today’s BA272 to depart before curfew and the aircraft will therefore overnight at San Diego.

British Airways B747-400 G-CIVH Returns from Cardiff Maintenance.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVH, which has been under maintenance at Cardiff-Wales since 1st March, positioned Cardiff-Wales – London Heathrow early this evening as BA9172. The aircraft has been reconfigured from 14F/70J/30W/185Y to 14F/86J/30W/145Y with Panasonic IFE. It is the tenth of eighteen aircraft to be reconfigured.

British Airways B747-400 G-BNLK New York JFK Technical Issue.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-BNLK operated BA175 London Heathrow – New York JFK today, however it was unable to operate the return BA172 due to a technical issue. Sister G-CIVH which arrived into New York JFK as BA183 from London Heathrow was turned around to operate BA172 rather than overnighting and operating BA178 tomorrow morning.
