British Airways B747-400 G-CIVJ Returns from Cardiff Maintenance.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVJ, which has been under maintenance at Cardiff-Wales since 6th January, positioned Cardiff-Wales – London Heathrow this evening as BA9179. The aircraft has new seat coverings in Economy and Premium Economy but we do not believe it has new IFE. We await confirmation of this.

British Airways B747-400 G-CIVJ Cape Town Flight Switch.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVJ arrived into Cape Town this morning as BA43 from London Heathrow (depart London Heathrow 14th March), however this evening it operated yesterday’s delayed BA42 Cape Town – London Heathrow as BA42D. As a result tonight’s BA42 has been delayed overnight.

British Airways B747-400 G-CIVJ Returns from Mexico City.

Following the technical issue it encountered on July 5th, British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVJ returned to service this evening operating today’s scheduled BA242 Mexico City – London Heathrow. On arrival at London Heathrow the aircraft entered the maintenance facility.

British Airways B747-400 G-CIVJ BA92 Montreal Diversion.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVJ operating BA92 Toronto – London Heathrow diverted via Montreal this evening. GDS systems are reporting that this was due to a technical issue however there are reports that this was due to a security alert. The flight continued to London Heathrow after around 90 minutes on the ground at Montreal.

British Airways B747-400 G-CIVJ Overnight Vancouver Delay.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVJ operated BA87 London Heathrow – Vancouver today, however the return BA86 has been delayed overnight due to an issue on yesterday’s outbound BA87 requiring cabin crew to have more than the usual rest period.

British Airways B747-400 G-CIVJ Overnight Denver Delay.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVJ operated BA219 London Heathrow – Denver today, however due to the overnight delay to yesterday’s BA219 there is no rested crew available at Denver and the return BA218 has therefore been delayed overnight.

British Airways B747-400 G-CIVJ Operates Atlanta Charter.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVJ operated a London Heathrow – Atlanta charter late tonight as BA9123 following the Atlanta Falcons NFL team appearing at Wembley. This was not the official team charter which was operated by Virgin Atlantic.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVJ operated an Atlanta – London Heathrow this evening as BA9122 in connection with the Atlanta Falcons NFL team appearing at Wembley. This was not the official team charter which was operated by Virgin Atlantic.

British Airways B747-400 G-CIVJ Overnight Vancouver Delay.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVJ operated BA85 London Heathrow – Vancouver today, however due to the 24 hour delay of yesterday’s BA87 there is no crew rested in Vancouver to operate the return BA84. This flight has therefore been delayed overnight.

British Airways B747-400 G-CIVJ Overnight Las Vegas Delay.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVJ operated BA275 London Heathrow – Las Vegas today, however the return BA274 has been delayed overnight. This is due to yesterday’s outbound BA275 being delayed by 24 hours and there therefore being no crew in Las Vegas to operated today’s BA274.

British Airways B747-400 G-CIVJ Returns from Miami.

Following the technical issue it encountered on 20th June, British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVJ departed Miami in the early hours of this morning operating the delayed BA208 Miami – London Heathrow of 20th June as BA9606.

British Airways B747-400 G-CIVJ Miami Technical Issue.

British Airways Boeing 747-438 G-CIVJ operated BA207 London Heathrow – Miami today, however it was unable to operate the return BA206 due to a technical issue. Sister G-BNLY, which operated BA209 London Heathrow – Miami was used to operate BA206 Miami – London Heathrow leading to BA208 Miami – London Heathrow being delayed overnight.

B747-400 G-CIVJ Returns from Chicago.

Following yesterday’s diversion to Chicago whilst operating BA192 Dallas-Fort Worth – London Heathrow, British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVJ departed Chicago early this evening continuing the flight to London Heathrow using callsign BA9607.

B747-400 G-CIVJ BA192 Chicago Diversion.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVJ operating BA192 Dallas-Fort Worth – London Heathrow diverted to Chicago this evening due to an apparent problem in retracting the nose gear. The flight did not exceed 20,000 ft. Passengers were accommodated overnight and at present the aircraft is expected to depart Chicago tomorrow.

B747-400 G-CIVJ Returns from Sydney.

Following yesterday’s technical issue British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVJ left Sydney late tonight operating Sydney – Singapore – London Heathrow as BA16X.

B747-400 G-CIVJ Sydney Technical Issue.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVJ was unable to depart Sydney as scheduled this afternoon as BA16 Sydney – Singapore – London Heathrow due to a technical issue which we understand is with the flaps.
