British Airways B747-400 G-CIVP Returns from Cardiff Maintenance.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVP, which has been under maintenance at Cardiff-Wales since 11th March, positioned Cardiff-Wales – London Heathrow early this evening as BA9172. The aircraft has new seat coverings in Economy and Premium Economy and new Panasonic IFE throughout.

British Airways B747-400 G-CIVP Vancouver Technical Issue.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVP operated BA85 London Heathrow – Vancouver this afternoon, however the return BA84 has been delayed overnight due to a technical issue. This may have been caused by a bird strike when the aircraft was landing at London Heathrow.

British Airways B747-400 G-CIVP BA209 Orlando Diversion.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVP operating BA209 London Heathrow – Miami diverted to Orlando this evening due to weather at Miami. The return BA208 was subsequently cancelled however this is showing as being due to a technical issue.

British Airways B747-400 G-CIVP JFK Rescue Mission.

Following the technical issue it encountered on 15th April, British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVP departed Mexico City in the early hours of this morning operating Mexico City – New York JFK as BA242F in the early hours of this morning carrying the scheduled cargo of the BA242 of 15th April. The aircraft then operated New York JFK – London Heathrow late at night as BA9604. This was the continuation of yesterday’s diverted BA206 Miami – London Heathrow.

British Airways B747-400 G-CIVP Returns from Montreal.

Following its security diversion yesterday, British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVP departed Montreal this evening continuing the diverted BA274 Las Vegas – London Heathrow of 28th July, routing Montreal – London Heathrow as BA9606.

British Airways B747-400 G-CIVP Overnight Miami Delay.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVP operated BA207 London Heathrow – Miami today, however due to yesterday’s service running 24 hours late there is no crew available to operate the aircraft back to the UK and the aircraft will therefore overnight at Miami.

British Airways B747-400 G-CIVP Returns from Heathrow Maintenance.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVP, which has been under maintenance at London Heathrow since 20th January, returned to service this afternoon operating BA81 London Heathrow – Accra. The aircraft has been in the paintshop but may not have been fully repainted. We await a sighting report.

British Airways B747-400 G-CIVP BA57 Barcelona Diversion.

British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVP operating BA57 London Heathrow – Johannesburg diverted to Barcelona late tonight due to a crew member becoming ill. Owing to problems finding hotels in Barcelona and with crew not having enough hours to reach Johannesburgthe flight subsequently returned to London Heathrow.
