British Airways B777-200ER G-VIIP Positions to Punta Cana.

British Airways Boeing 777-236ER G-VIIP positioned London Gatwick – Punta Cana as BA9150 early this afternoon and will operate an additional Punta Cana – London Gatwick service tomorrow evacuating passengers prior to the expected arrival of Hurricane Maria.

British Airways B777-200ER G-VIIP Returns from Cardiff Maintenance.

British Airways Boeing 777-236ER G-VIIP, which has been under maintenance at Cardiff-Wales since 2nd March, positioned Cardiff-Wales – London Gatwick this morning as BA9177. The aircraft was scheduled to operate BA2263 London Gatwick – Kingston and passengers had boarded when passenger’s were advised that the flight was to be delayed until tomorrow.

British Airways B777-200ER G-VIIP Continues from Miami.

Following its diversion yesterday, British Airways Boeing 777-236ER G-VIIP departed Miami this afternoon continuing yesterday’s diverted BA2039 London Gatwick – Orlando routing Miami – Orlando using BA2039 as its callsign. The aircraft then operated yesterday’s delayed BA2038 Orlando – London Gatwick as BA9608.

G-VIIP Returns to Service.

Following several days on the ground at London Gatwick Boeing 777-236ER G-VIIP returned to service today operating the BA2167/BA2166 London Gatwick –Tampa rotation.

Gatwick B777-200ER Latest.

Boeing 777-236ER G-VIIK continued to operate from London Gatwick today operating the BA2157/BA2156 London Gatwick – Antigua –Tobago rotation today. Sister G-VIIP remained out of service.

Gatwick 777-200ER Operations Latest.

Boeing 777-236ER G-VIIO returned to service today and operated yesterday’s BA2039/BA2038 London Gatwick – Orlando rotation. G-VIIP remained out of service and G-VIIK remained on loan from London Heathrow and operated the BA2233/BA2232 London Gatwick – Bermuda rotation. This meant one flight had to be delayed overnight and this was the BA2167/BA2166 London Gatwick – Tampa rotation.

G-VIIK Operates from London Gatwick.

Boeing 777-236ER G-VIIK positioned London Heathrow – London Gatwick as BA9152 this afternoon in order to operate this evening’s BA2043 London Gatwick – Male. There appears to have been issues with both G-VIIO and G-VIIP with neither operating outbound services yesterday. As a result BA2039 London Gatwick – Orlando has been delayed overnight.

G-VIIP Operates Short BA2157.

The BA2157/BA2156 London Gatwick – Antigua –San Juan rotation operated by Boeing 777-236ER G-VIIP operated London Gatwick – Antigua only today.

Two to Tampa.

Following its late return from Orlando yesterday Boeing 777-236ER G-VIIP operated yesterday’s delayed BA2167 London Gatick – Tampa this morning using callsign BA60T. Today’s scheduled BA2167 was operated by sister G-VIIR. 

G-VIIP Returns from Orlando.

Following yesterday’s technical issue Boeing 777-236ER G-VIIP departed Orlando this afternoon operating yesterday’s BA2036 Orlando – London Gatwick using callsign BA9603. As a result of the late return of this aircraft today’s BA2167 London Gatwick – Tampa has been delayed until tomorrow.

G-VIIP Orlando Technical Issue.

Boeing 777-236ER G-VIIP operated BA2037 London Gatwick – Orlando today but was unable to operate the return BA2036 due to a technical issue. We understand this was due to a bird strike.

British Airways B777-200ER G-VIIP Delivered.

British Airways Boeing 777-236ER G-VIIP was delivered today. The aircraft is in Colum World Images livery and brings the British Airways Boeing 777-200ER fleet up to sixteen aircraft. This aircraft is in a 28J/355Y configuration with 3-4-3 seating in Economy for leisure routes from London Gatwick.
