British Airways B777-200ER G-YMMC Returns from Cardiff Maintenance.

British Airways Boeing 777-236ER G-YMMC, which has been under maintenance at Cardiff-Wales since 20th March, positioned Cardiff-Wales – London Gatwick as BA9176 this morning then returned to service operating BA2167 London Gatwick – Tampa. The aircraft has been reconfigured from 48J/24W/203Y to 32J/48W/252Y configuration with ten abreast seating in Economy Class and new Panasonic IFE. This is the first aircraft in this configuration.

British Airways B777-200ER G-YMMC Cardiff-Wales Test Flight.

British Airways Boeing 777-236ER G-YMMC, which has been under maintenance at Cardiff-Wales since 20th March, operated a two and three quarter hour Cardiff-Wales – Cardiff-Wales test flight this afternoon as BA9173 flying numerous circuits off the north coast of Cornwall.

British Airways B777-200ER G-YMMC Oakland Cancellation.

British Airways Boeing 777-236ER G-YMMC operated BA2279 London Gatwick – Oakland this morning, however the return BA2278 was cancelled with the airline showing a technical issue. However an hour after the scheduled departure of BA2278 the aircraft departed Oakland for London Gatwick as BA9601, a flight number which indicates a passenger service.

British Airways B777-200ER G-YMMC Returns from Gatwick Base.

British Airways Boeing 777-236ER G-YMMC, which has been operating from London Gatwick since 24th April, positioned London Gatwick – London Heathrow as BA9176 late this afternoon after arriving as BA2202 from Cancun. The aircraft then operated BA245 London Heathrow – Buenos Aires.

British Airways B777-200ER G-YMMC Returns from Gatwick Base.

British Airways Boeing 777-236ER G-YMMC, which has been operating from London Gatwick since February 27th, positioned London Gatwick – London Heathrow as BA9151 this evening after arriving as BA2036 from Orlando. The aircraft then operated BA245 London Heathrow – Buenos Aires.

British Airways B777-200ER G-YMMC BA2237 Gatwick Volcano Return.

British Airways Boeing 777-236ER G-YMMC operating BA2237 London Gatwick – San Jose (Costa Rica) was around five hours into the flight this afternoon when it turned back to London Gatwick due to volcanic activity around Costa Rica. The flight and the return BA2236 were subsequently cancelled.

British Airways B777-200ER G-YMMC BA163 Heathrow Medical Return.

British Airways Boeing 777-236ER G-YMMC operating BA163 London Heathrow – Tel Aviv (depart London Heathrow 28th September) was approaching Brussels at 37,000 ft in the very early hours of this morning when it turned back to London Heathrow for a safe landing due to a medical issue on board. The flight has been delayed overnight.

British Airways B777-200ER G-YMMC Gets Sinking Feeling.

British Airways Boeing 777-236ER G-YMMC operating BA10 Bangkok – London Heathrow was being pushed back from the stand at Bangkok when it partially sank into soft tarmac. The aircraft was pulled onto harder ground by a tug and after a satisfactory inspection was able to operate the flight with a delay of around two hours.

British Airways B777-200ER G-YMMC Returns from Chennai.

Following the technical issue it encountered on 11th June, British Airways B777-236ER G-YMMC departed Chennai  early this morning operating the delayed BA36 Chennai – London Heathrow of 11th June as BA36D. Parts were sourced from Emirates at Dubai.

British Airways B777-200ER G-YMMC Chennai Technical Issue.

British Airways Boeing 777-236ER G-YMMC arrived into Chennai this morning as BA35 from London Heathrow (depart London 10th June), however the return BA36 was unable to leave the gate due to a technical issue with the aircraft. The flight has been delayed indefinitely.

B777-200ER G-YMMC Returns from Denver.

Having had an engine change since ingesting a metal object into the left hand engine whilst attempting to depart Denver as BA218 to London Heathrow on 11th October, British Airways Boeing 777-236ER G-YMMC departed Denver this evening positioning Denver – London Heathrow as BA9179.

British Airways B777-200ER G-YMMC Denver Technical Issue.

British Airways Boeing 777-236ER G-YMMC operated BA219 London Heathrow – Denver today however it rejected take off at slow speed whilst returning as BA218 Denver – London Heathrow when a piece of metal was ingested into the left hand engine. The aircraft returned to the stand and the flight was subsequently cancelled. We understand the aircraft will require an engine change before it is able to return to the UK.

British Airways B777-200ER G-YMMC Delivered.

British Airways Boeing 777-236ER G-YMMC was delivered today. The aircraft is in Union Flag livery and brings the British Airways Boeing 777-200ER fleet up to twenty seven aircraft.
