British Airways B777-300ER G-STBL BA39 Heathrow Crew Illness Incident.

British Airways Boeing 777-336ER G-STBL operating BA39 London Heathrow – Beijing had left the stand this afternoon when several ten of the thirteen cabin crew members became unwell, feeling nauseous and with a metallic taste in their mouths. Passengers were reported to be covering their faces due to a strong, noxious smell. The aircraft returned to a remote stand and passengers returned to the terminal.

Following its overnight crew delay, British Airways Boeing 777-336ER G-STBL departed Sydney this morning operating yesterday’s delayed BA16 Sydney – Singapore – London Heathrow as BA16A but operating only as a Sydney – Singapore service.

British Airways Boeing 777-336ER G-STBL arrived into Sydney this moring as BA15 from London Heathrow and Singapore (depart London Heathrow 7th May), however due to the cancellation of yesterday’s BA15 Singapore – Sydney sector there is no rested crew available at Sydney and therefore today’s BA16 Sydney – Singapore – London Heathrow has been delayed overnight.

British Airways Boeing 777-336ER G-STBL operating BA296 Chicago – London Heathrow (depart Chicago 26th August) encountered a lightning strike on approach to London Heathrow this morning requiring it to be removed from service for inspections.

British Airways B777-300ER G-STBL Delivered.

British Airways Boeing 777-336ER G-STBL was delivered Paine Field – Cardiff-Wales this evening as BA9158. The aircraft is in White Union Flag with Crest livery and 14F/56J/44W/183Y configuration. This brings the B777-300ER fleet up to twelve aircraft.
