British Airways Boeing 777-236ERĀ G-VIIC, which was under maintenance at Cardiff-Wales from 25th June – 8th September and has been at London Heathrow since, returned to service this afternoon operating BA113 London Heathrow – New York JFK which was its first passenger service since 9th April. However whilst climbing through 25,000ft at the Welsh border the aircraft stopped the climb due to a technical issue and returned to London Heathrow for a safe landing.
