British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVJ, which has been under maintenance at Cardiff-Wales since 6th January, positioned Cardiff-Wales – London Heathrow this evening as BA9179. The aircraft has new seat coverings in Economy and Premium Economy but we do not believe it has new IFE. We await confirmation of this.

British Airways Boeing 777-236ER G-VIIV, which has been under maintenance at Singapore since 2nd December 2018, positioned Singapore – London Gatwick this afternoon as BA9179. The aircraft has been reconfigured from 14F/48J/40W/124YLGW configuration into a new 14F/48J/40W/136Y configuration with new seats in Premium Economy and Economy and with Panasonic IFE.

British Airways today confirmed that they will paint an unspecified number of aircraft in former liveries, the first of which will be Boeing 747-400 G-BYGC which will wear BOAC livery with small British Airways 100 logos at the rear.
