As this has been discussed on various online forums we should make clear our position on confirming whether particular aircraft have been fitted with new First. Where we have received reports that an aircraft has new First we will state it as ‘understood but not confirmed’ as having the new cabin. Only once we have personally seen an aircraft or seen photographic evidence of an aircraft with window blanks on the First Class cabin will we list the aircraft as ‘confirmed’ as having the new cabin. There has been speculation on other forums as to the status of Boeing 747-436 G-BNLR.
