British Airways Airbus A321 Seat Maps

British Airways operate two different configurations of Airbus A321 aircraft from London Heathrow.

In most instances you can tell which configuration you are scheduled to fly on by looking at the seat display in Manage My Booking at ba.com when selecting a seat.

Economy Class

If Economy Class ends at Row 37 and has only four seats in Row 23 then you are scheduled to fly on a CY218 configuration aircraft . This may be shown under Code 321 under Aircraft Type in “Manage My Booking” on ba.com. If Economy Class ends at Row 37 and has only four seats in Row 26 then you are scheduled to fly on a CY220 configuration A321Neo aircraft. (Code 32Q)

If Economy Class starts at Row 9 and ends at Row 31 then you are scheduled to fly on the 23J/131Y configuration A321 aircraft. (Code M1A).

Business Class

If Row 1 in Business Class has four seats, A, C, D and F then you are scheduled to fly on either a CY218 configuration aircraft (Code 321 under Aircraft Type in “Manage My Booking” on ba.com) or the CY220 configuration A321Neo aircraft (Code 32Q). If these codes are not indicated then it is only possible to tell between these two types if the Business Class Cabin extends to at least Row 9. If Row 9 has only two seats, C and D, then you are scheduled to fly on this aircraft. If Row 9 has four seats, A, C, D and F, then you are scheduled to fly on a CY220 configuration A321Neo aircraft.

If Row 1 in Business Class has three seats, A, D and F then you are scheduled to fly on the 23J/131Y configuration A321 aircraft (Code M1A).
