Following its diversion yesterday, British Airways A320SL G-EUYS departed Warsaw early this afternoon continuing yesterday’s diverted BA872 London Heathrow – Krakow, routing Warsaw – Krakow as BA872D. The aircraft then operated yesterday’s delayed BA873 Krakow – London Heathrow as BA873D.

British Airways A320SL G-EUYS operating BA872 London Heathrow – Krakow diverted to Warsaw this afternoon due to weather at Krakow. Crew timed out at Warsaw so the aircraft will overnight. As a result BA873 Krakow – London Heathrow has been delayed overnight.

British Airways A320SL G-EUYS operating BA378 London Heathrow – Toulouse encountered severe turbulence this afternoon causing the cancellation of the return BA379 whilst the aircraft was checked for damage.

British Airways A320 G-EUYS Returns with Sharklets.

British Airways A320 G-EUYS, which has been under maintenance at London Heathrow since 28th April, returned to service this morning operating BA890 London Heathrow – Sofia. The aircraft has been fitted with Sharklet winglets.

British Airways A320 G-EUYS made its first flight from Toulouse wearing test registration F-WWDY this afternoon and positioned Toulouse – Finkenwerder. The aircraft is in primer with a Union Flag tail.

Ten New A320s for British Airways?

The respected Jethros website is indicating that ten new Airbus A320s, G-EUYO/P/R/S/T/U/V/W/X/Y, are scheduled for delivery to British Airways between June 2013 and November 2014. No Manufacturers Serial Numbers are attributed to the frames. No statements have been made by IAG or Airbus. Five A320 options firmed up by Iberia in May 2010 were reported to have been destined for British Airways.
