British Airways A321 G-MEDM operating BA1402 London Heathrow – Manchester diverted to Liverpool this evening due to a runway closure at Manchester. Late at night the aircraft positioned Liverpool – London Heathrow as BA9258. As a result BA1407 Manchester – London Heathrow was cancelled.

British Airways A321 G-MEDM Returns from Gatwick Maintenance.

British Airways A321 G-MEDM, which has been under maintenance at London Gatwick since 16th March, returned to service this afternoon operating the BA2624/BA2625 London Gatwick – Nice rotation. The aircraft then positioned London Gatwick – London Heathrow as BA9174. This is the first use of a midhaul A321 in regular service from London Gatwick. The aircraft has been fitted with a containerised baggage system and is now compatible with T5 operations at London Heathrow.

British Airways A321 G-MEDM operating BA147 London Heathrow – Amman diverted to Amman-Marka this afternoon due to weather at Amman Queen Alia. The aircraft continued to Amman Queen Alia shortly afterwards and operated BA146 Amman – London Heathrow with a two and a half hour delay.
