British Airways Boeing 777-236ER G-YMMS arrived into Male this afternoon as the five hour delayed BA2043 from London Gatwick (depart London Gatwick 18th March), however the return BA2042 has been delayed overnight. It is not clear whether this is due to a technical or a crew issue.

British Airways B777-200ER G-YMMS BA2063 Athens Diversion.

British Airways Boeing 777-236ER G-YMMS operating BA2063 London Gatwick – Mauritius diverted to Athens this evening due to a medical emergency on board. Crew would have timed out before arrival into Mauritius and the aircraft has therefore been delayed overnight at Athens.

British Airways B777-200ER G-YMMS Returns from Mx, Positions to Gatwick Base.

British Airways Boeing 777-236ER G-YMMS, which has been under maintenance at London Heathrow since November 22nd, positioned London Heathrow – London Gatwick as BA9175 this morning and entered service from London Gatwick as BA2063 London Gatwick – Mauritius. The aircraft has been repainted into White Union Flag with Crest livery.

British Airways B777-200ER G-YMMS BA245 Cordoba Diversion.

British Airways Boeing 777-236ER G-YMMS operating BA245 London Heathrow – Buenos Aires (depart London 22nd April) diverted to Cordoba this morning due to weather at Buenos Aires. Crew subsequently ran out of hours and the flight was therefore terminated. As a result tonight’s BA244 Buenos Aires – London Heathrow has been cancelled.

G-YMMS Returns from Bangalore.

Following its technical issue yesterday Boeing 777-236ER G-YMMS departed Bangalore this evening operating yesterday’s delayed BA118 Bangalore – London Heathrow as BA118D.

British Airways Boeing 777-236ER G-YMMS was delivered today. The aircraft is in Union Flag livery and 48J/24W/203Y configuration. It is the 42nd Boeing 777-200ER delivered to British Airways and brings the active fleet up to 41 aircraft.
