Following its technical diversion on 1st January, British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVU positioned Minneapolis-St Paul – London Heathrow this evening as BA9176.
British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVY operated BA295 London Heathrow – Chicago this morning, then following the Boeing 747-400 technical diversion yesterday the aircraft positioned Chicago – Minneapolis-St Paul as BA9173 in order to continue yesterday’s diverted BA243 London Heathrow – Mexico City, routing Minneapolis-St Paul – Mexico City using callsign BA9608. As a result BA294 Chicago – London Heathrow was cancelled.
British Airways Boeing 747-436 G-CIVU operating BA243 London Heathrow – Mexico City diverted to Minneapolis-St Paul this afternoon due to an odour on the flight deck. The flight is scheduled to continue tomorrow.

This is the first appearance of a British Airways A380 at Minneapolis-St Paul.
